Rapid Global Contractor Compliance

Frankston City Council, along with ten other Victorian councils, have engaged Rapid Global to provide a Contractor Compliance system.

As of 31 July 2022, after a quotation or tender process, preferred contractors will be invited to register and become compliant with the Rapid Global system.

The system requires contractors to complete an OHS questionnaire, based on the risk profile of the works they will be undertaking.

Contractors are also required to upload their key supplier documentation and certificates, such as Public Liability Insurance, Trade Licenses etc.

Child Safe Standards Contractor Assessment

Frankston City Council has zero tolerance for child abuse.  Council is committed to creating and maintaining a Child Safe environment where all children are valued and protected from harm and child abuse.

As a Child Safe organisation, Council requires that all contractors meet minimum standard requirements based on the works and services having incidental contact with children.

Contractors will be required to complete and submit the Child Safe Standards Contractor Assessment - Incidental Contact(PDF, 845KB).

Contractors that have direct contact with children will be directed to complete and submit the Child Safe Standards Contractor Assessment - Direct Contact(PDF, 677KB).

Contractors will be required to upload the relevant completed and signed Child Safe Standards Contractor Assessment via Rapid Global.

Advantages of Rapid Global

• Contractors will no longer have to complete an OHS questionnaire and child safety information for every tender submission. 
• Contractors will only need to complete the relevant OHS questionnaire and provide the key documents once.
• When deemed compliant to a risk profile, they will remain compliant for 2 years (subject to keeping certificates of insurances etc up to date).
• Participating councils will be sharing the one compliance assessment process.
• The questionnaire and requirements will be the same for all ten Councils. When deemed compliant with one Council, a contractor is also deemed compliant with all participating Councils.  

Cost

The cost for shortlisted contractor’s to register with Rapid Global is dependent on the risk profile of the works they have tendered for. The fee is only payable once per annum. All costs are tax deductible.
