Update pet registration details

To register your pet for the first time or to renew your pet registration, please visit the Pet registration and renewal page.

You must notify council if the details of your pet registration have changed. This may include:

microchip information
your address has changed within the municipality (you will need to register your pet if you have moved from a different Council)

Please contact us if your pet had a registration with us previously and you are returning to the municipality.

Don't forget to also update your details with the relevant microchipping agency. Visit the Pet Address website to identify your pets microchipping agency.

Only the owner of a pet can change the registration details. If you are unsure who in your household is the owner, please call us on 1300 322 322. Please visit the transfer of pet ownership page to make changes to the registered owner details of an animal.
