Apply for protection of the public

If your proposed building work is likely to impose a risk to the safety of the public, you may need to ensure precautionary measures are in place before and during your project. This may include:

  • parra webbing
  • chain mesh fencing
  • solid hoardings
  • scaffolding
  • gantries
  • partial or full road closures.

If precautions are required, then you will need consent before carrying out precautionary work.
