Ballam Park Athletics Track Surface Renewal Works

Frankston City Council has completed the athletics track surface renewal works at Ballam Park in Frankston to comply with current World Athletics Standards. 

The athletics track was in poor condition with worn and cracked sections, and as a result, was declared unsuitable for competition by senior athletes by Athletics Victoria. To comply with current World Athletics (WA) Certification the works include replacing the athletics track surface.

The $1.22m Council-funded works commenced in Mid-June 2022 and were completed in late 2022.

The contract for the works has been awarded to Polytan Asia Pacific Limited.
