Lucerne Reserve Upgrade
We’re upgrading Lucerne Reserve in early 2025! The upgrade will provide a broader range of play experiences, improved accessibility, and connectivity.
New features will include:
- Basket swing
- Toddler and junior swings
- Nature play
- Climbing rope play
- New play structure
- Upgraded basketball space
- New seats and picnic table
- Additional tree planting and landscaping
The upgrade will take about four months to complete and is in line with Council’s Play Strategy which identifies this as a ‘local play space’ – a space designed to service a 400m walkable area for regular short-term stays (up to one hour). Local play spaces are typically located within a small local reserve and focus on pre-school and junior play activities, seating, and shade. Local play spaces are serviced fortnightly and therefore can't include high maintenance features like toilets and barbeques.
