Ballam Park Athletics Pavilion Redevelopment

The Ballam Park Athletics Pavilion Redevelopment is due to begin in March and is expected to be completed by October 2024, in time for the 24/25 athletic season.

This is the second phase of scheduled work for the Ballam Park Athletic track. Phase one included resurfacing the athletic track, so the track now complies with all current World Athletics Standards, making it a suitable venue for athletic competitions.

The pavilion upgrade includes:

Two fit-for-purpose change rooms and amenities;
Accessible public amenities/toilet;
Storage room;
First aid room;
Increased social area;
Increased gym area;
Kitchen re-flooring;
Increased office/ /officials/meeting room;
External undercover viewing area.

While construction is underway temporary changing and toilet facilities will be in place for facility users at the oval's east side.

This project has been funded by the Council, and the Victorian Government.

This project is supported by the Council Plan and by the Council’s Active Leisure Strategy 2021-2029 and Sports Development Plan.
