Description of Works

• Two new pedestrian refuge islands on McCormicks Road between Brunnings Road and Hall Road
• New raised school crossing on Brunnings Road at the Carrum Downs Secondary College
• New raised safety platform on Luscombe Avenue at the Frankston Dandenong Road intersection
• New raised safety platform on William Road at the Frankston Dandenong Road intersection
• Intersection Realignment (Sherbourne Drive & Wendel Court) - Completed
• Construction of Splitter Island and Pedestrian Refuge (Black Wattle Way & Carrum Woods Drive) - Completed
• Intersection Realignment (Carrum Woods Drive & Elstar Drive) - Completed
• Construction of Wombat Crossing and DDA Carpark (77 Cadles Road) - Completed
• Construction of DDA and Standard Carpark (91 Cadles Road) - Completed
• Installation of Bollards and Signage at McCormicks Road – Brunnings Road Roundabout- Completed
• Bus Bay Line Marking (Various Locations) - Completed
• Line Marking and Signage on 90-degree bends (Various Locations) - Completed

Timing of Works

Works are expected to be completed by July 2025 (subject to contractor availability and funding). Works will be undertaken Monday – Friday between 7am and 5pm. Some nighttime works may be required.

Disruptions Expected

Disruptions are to be expected for local residents including noise when machinery is being operated and minor delays when passing through the works zone. Site, Traffic and Pedestrian Management will be in place for the entire duration of works at each of the sites to maintain public safety, direct traffic safely and facilitate access to properties where required.
