Apply for a Certificate of Compliance

If you are seeking Statement of Compliance for a subdivision and require an inspection, please visit Subdivision process.

You may need to apply for a Certificate of Compliance to demonstrate that a development or use of land complies with the Frankston Planning Scheme.

When applying, select:

  • Form 14 for an existing development or use of land
  • Form 15 for a proposed development or use of land.

Step 1.Prepare your application

Your application must include:

  • A complete copy of the Certificate of Title that is no older than 3 months, including any restrictions such as a Section 173 Agreement. You can obtain a Certificate of Title from the Landata website.
  • Details of your proposal or of the existing use and development for which you seek a certificate.

Step 2.Download the application form

Download and complete the Application for a Certificate of Compliance(PDF, 670KB)  form.

Step 3.Submit your application

Send your completed form and supporting documents to:

info@frankston.vic.gov.au

We may request more information if you have not provided enough detail in your proposal. This may delay the application.
