Apply for a commercial or industrial permit

You will need a commercial or industrial permit to:

  • develop a new building
  • alter or extend a building
  • remove or lop vegetation (more than one tree) on a site with commercial or industrial use
  • mixed use applications.

We prefer you submit your application online. If you do not want to apply online, you can lodge your application by mail, email or in person.

Online

Step 1.Prepare your application

Your application must include:

  • A complete copy of the Certificate of Title that is no older than 3 months, including any restrictions such as a Section 173 Agreement. You can obtain a Certificate of Title from the Landata website.
  • A credit or debit card to pay the relevant fee. This fee is for the lodgement of your application and does not include the cost of giving notice of your application, if required. Note: we are unable to accept an Amex or Diners card online.
