Place Naming Proposal - Lake at Beauty Park
Background
Beauty Park is located at 51N High Street, Frankston. The park is recognised as linking Frankston’s waterfront with George Pentland Botanic Gardens and is home to Frankston’s War Memorial. The lake contains two raised viewing platforms suspended over the water’s edge, enabling visitors to view a variety of seabirds and water fowl.
Formal Naming Proposal
It is proposed to formally name the ornamental lake in Beauty Park:
Council are a naming authority and at its Meeting on 24 June 2024 endorsed to seek feedback on the:
- Proposed formal naming of the ornamental lake at Beauty Park to be called Beauty Lake
