Centenary Park

While the park offers a range of sport and recreation facilities, from a sports oval and pavilion to tennis courts and dog off leash area, it is most well known as the home of the Centenary Park Golf Course.

Just an hour from Melbourne’s city centre, the golf course has developed into one of the most popular public courses in metropolitan Melbourne. It comprises an 18-hole public access golf course, practise fairway, practice putting green, pro shop, clubrooms, maintenance centre, caretaker's residence and car park.

Golf course upgrade – September 2024

Council has developed a master plan to help Centenary Park evolve into a contemporary golf facility, and the first stage of works from the plan are now underway.

The project will include reconstructing three greens (1^st, 9^th and 10^th holes) and building new toilets (13th hole).

The upgrades will improve access for locals and visitors.

Works will be staged to reduce impacts as much as possible, and temporary greens will be in place.
