Waterfront Playground

The Frankston Waterfront Reserve (22.7 hectares) stretches along the coastline for five kilometres from Long Island Tennis Club to Kackeraboite Creek at Davey's Bay. Offering areas of significant natural flora and fauna, and a clean family-friendly beach which has won several awards from Keep Australia Beautiful.

Frankston Regional Foreshore Playground

Children of all ages adore the Award-winning Foreshore playground where castles stand tall, tunnels capture the imagination and shaded sand pits provide hours of fun.

Separate toddler-junior and senior-level play equipment is available along with grassy picnic areas for families and friends.

A Liberty Swing is available for children with disabilities.

The Frankston Regional Foreshore Playground upgraded

The recently completed works included the demolition of existing aged equipment, refurbishment of the iconic ‘Pixie Hats’ (steel cone roofs) and installation of new junior and senior play spaces utilising durable structural materials more resilient to the harsh coastal environment.

Dog Restrictions

Dogs are not allowed on the beach during December, January, February and March between 9:30am and 7:30pm. At all other times they are permitted on the beach provided they are on-leash.
