School Holiday Ranger Program

Come join us during our School Holiday Ranger Programs for 2025 in one of Frankston City’s natural reserves to learn more about our native fauna and flora and the value of biodiversity conservation.

Cost: Free

An adult is required to accompany all children under 18 years of age.

What to bring on the day?

Remember to dress for the weather and wear closed sturdy walking shoes, a hat and scarf, long pants and long sleeved top, a warm jacket or jumper, and a raincoat or umbrella if rain is forecast. Bring a nut free snack and a water bottle. You may like to bring a picnic lunch and stay for the day. Please note that activities may be cancelled due to extreme weather conditions on the day.

Discover a collection of fantastic ideas, to inspire kids creativity, keep them entertained, active and to encourage them to try something new.  

Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre (PARC)

There’s loads of fun to be had at PARC, with the popular inflatable Splashtown obstacle course, Constrictor and Python waterslides and the multi-level Aquatic Playground. The entertainment doesn't stop outside the water, with a Centre scavenger hunt, visits from loveable mascot Hydro and interactive activities with prizes to be won! The holiday program will run from 11am–3pm weekdays between 10–28 January, including the Australia Day public holiday. Time slots for Splashtown obstacle course are FREE as part of your PARC Swim membership, and can be booked online shortly.
