Frankston City Carer Information Session

carers workshop

To celebrate National Carers Week 2022, Frankston City Council is hosting a free Carer Information Session; bringing together a range of support services and information on opportunities for social connection all in one place!

The session is targeted at local unpaid carers of people with disability, with mental illness or people who are ageing and need additional support. Carers may be a partner, family member, friend or neighbour of the person they care for.

What to expect:

The event will start with Council and Community services presenting an overview of the services they offer. This will be followed by a complimentary morning tea and networking opportunity where carers can link in with services of interest to them as well as have an opportunity to chat with other local carers.

Bookings for this event are essential for catering purposes and numbers are limited to allow carers enough time to chat with services. Please advise us of any dietary requirements when booking.

Bookings via Eventbrite

If you are unable to attend this event but would like more information on services available to carers in Frankston City please contact Karen McMahon on 1300 322 322 or email disability@frankston.vic.gov.au
