Kitten Adoption Day is coming to the Frankston Mechanics Hall. Council will be hosting a kitten adoption day to incentivise Frankston residents to adopt their next pet. The Lost Dogs’ Home will be onsite with kittens looking for their forever homes. Kittens will: • Cost $270 per kitten • mostly under three months (all under six months) • Be desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. Frankston residents who adopted a kitten on the day and register their new kitten to a property within the Frankston municipality, will receive 2 free pet registrations periods with Frankston City Council (so you won’t need to pay the annual registration fee for your new pet until 10 April 2027) As part of Council’ First 30 Forever Furry Friends program, the first 30 Frankston City households to adopt a kitten on the day will also have their $270 kitten adoption fee paid for by Council.
