Peter Fanton - Listening to Silence

In Silence, I hear the world breathing with echoes of earth and sky; of past and present. I have come to play within the rhythms of creations healing vibrations.

Within the lair of the reluctant warrior, a survivor has emerged, no longer lending strength to that which he wishes to be free from; no longer letting ‘them’ tell him who he is, but rather, showing them who he is, beyond identity consciousness. My Creative Practice allows me access to Silence. In this playful, reverent, and emergent space, I listen to the Silence, where I begin to hear what it is I need to understand, beyond the noise of information, mistaken for intelligence. Art Connects! It connects this warrior with people, places, and spaces and to what resonates within.

Creativity for me is artfulness beyond identity. Within the lair of the reluctant warrior, a survivor has emerged free from the disruptive, distractive, and distempered noise of the ‘World of Identities’. This warrior comes forth, armed with the power of Silence. What is it we listen to? I have come to experience the power of ‘Now and Then’ combined, and so it is, that in this shape and form, I emerge now, from the ‘presence’ of playfulness, accepted as guide and teacher. Curious and careful of what I listen to in this world, a reluctant warrior who embraces the naturalness of what is, no longer lending strength to that which I need to be free from. It is better to know that the heart has no words, than to have many words without heart! In a world seemingly so intent on weaponizing language and deeds, I listen to silence, from where I am myself, beyond labels, and armed with creative wellness energy, custodian of my Creation Wellness Being!
