White Street Mall January Events

White Street Mall has undergone a transformation to create a welcoming public space for the community to enjoy day or night. There's new feature lighting, integrated flexible seating and activity areas and greening, a decked platform and playful rubber landscape treatments.

To celebrate the new space at White Street Mall (off Wells Street, opposite the Cinema Forecourt), there will be some family fun pop-up activations and entertainment starting 3 January until the end of the month.

From face painting, reptile encounters, gardening for kids and balloon art, to Holey Moley and Strike activities and live music including local singer Anthony Lorenzo, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

A few Council services such as the Youth Bus and Impact Volunteering will also be popping by the newly upgraded mall.

Creating a more social, active and open space leads to increased footfall for traders with important flow-on benefits including positive social interactions and improved community safety.
