Financial hardship

While your rates are still due on the normal due dates, we understand that many people may be experiencing financial hardship.

Council offers services to help eligible ratepayers if you find yourself in financial difficulty and don't believe you can meet your future rates payment.

Financial counselling

If you are experiencing financial hardship please call The Good Shepherd on 1300 765 595 for advice.

They offer a free and confidential financial counselling service for Frankston City ratepayers and property owners.

Payment Plan

A Payment Plan is a rates payment plan between you and Council. It allows you to make repayments that suit your budget to make sure that your rates are paid by the end of the financial year.

Depending on your circumstances, payments can be made:

  • weekly
  • fortnightly
  • monthly.

If you're experiencing financial difficulty or you don't believe you will be able to make your upcoming rates payment, you can apply for a Payment Plan.
