ASPIRE Program
What is it?
The Advisory Stream for Process Innovation and Resource Exchange (ASPIRE) is an online marketplace for businesses wanting to buy, sell or trade unwanted materials and product. Through the platform businesses can reduce their waste disposal and costs, create new supply chains and generate new income for their business.
What items are accepted?
ASPIRE allows businesses to have unlimited resource listings and is actively trading a wide range of items for reuse and recycling including items such as:
- Organics like soil, plants, and grass
- Paper, cardboard, and equipment
- Metals, both ferrous and non-ferrous
- Plastics
- Glass, including bottles and glassware
- Textiles, such as fabrics and garments
- Liquids, including oils, solvents, and fuels
- E-waste (electronic waste)
- Construction and demolition materials like concrete, bricks, and rubble
- Furniture
- Automotive tools and parts
- Wood and timber
And much more…
Is there a cost to join?
No. Frankston City Council has partnered with ASPIRE to offer local businesses with less than 20 employees’ a FREE membership.
Businesses with more than 20 employees in Frankston can also access the platform for a reduced fee by using the discount code COF50 at check out.
How do I access the program?
You can register for an ASPIRE account directly through ASPIRE.

Alternatively, you can book a visit from a member of Council’s waste circularity team to help you get up and running to show you how to get the most from the tool.
