Street Performers are required to hold their own public liability insurance for the life of the permit (twelve months) and supply a certificate of currency as part of the application process. In the instances where a street performer does not hold public liability insurance, coverage will be provided under a separate general liability policy taken out on behalf of hirers of Council owned or controlled facilities, participants of Council run or Council approved events or programs or permit holders. A fee of $15.00 will be incurred. Please contact Frankston City Council on 1300 322 322 for a copy of the Public Liability Insurance Policy document for coverage details of inclusions and exclusions.
